Ethan Carter at least had SOME gameplay elements, this has non. And The Park & Firewatch were just as bad.
People wonder why the pc/steam community has the reputation of being one of the most toxic, salty and most pathetic of them all.....posts like this show why.
Seconded these both
A video game without gameplay is not enjoyable as a game. It makes it an experience, but when you can't even tell a coherent and interesting story then what the hell are buying this for? If you want sweet graphics look at the screenshots, same experience.
Because I already bought it on my PS4 you numbnut.
I played it, you didn't, yet you defend this game.
But this looks fantastic.
Eery, mysterious and interesting, with an open map to explore and figure out the story as you like. What else could you want in a game that is narrative-driven rather than shooty-bang-bang-driven?
Check out the 4K screenshot gallery on PCGamer, it looks fantastic. And without those awful puzzles of Ethan Carter, it might just be the game that Ethan Carter should have been.
The only thing I noticed in those screenshots, being a 40-something year old englishman, is that the cars don't seem to be licensed. One screen in particular shows what is obviously meant to be an old clapped-out Ford Cortina (or maybe Granada, hard to tell), and another shows a mark 1 Ford Fiesta. Neither seem to be licensed. Game would have felt so much more immersive with actual British cars in it
Either you're trolling, or stupid. Both of which probably didn't even deserve this much of a response, but you got me.
