Armory Key Location?

I recently started a new save to explore the new forest areas, but I can't find the armory key anywhere. I've turned the whole courtyard upside down, tried to loot every guard, still can't find anything. A hint or exact location would be helpful - because I can't progress to see the lake and everything else until I find this key (or if I can, I have no idea how to get there - as far as I can see, it's a circular land-mass with no downward slopes.

How do you reach the lake, then? Or is it not yet accessible?

It isn't accessible yet. At present only the jail, courtyard and sewers are needed to complete all the quests, and the forest was added a few months ago, but there isn't anything to do there, other than look around.

Just wanted to make sure. I knew there were no quests required in the forest area (I've played the game several times through before, and did a complete playthrough again on the recent patch) but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something to access other potential new areas. Thanks anyway!

No. Armory key is supposed to be on a guard patrolling the round staircase to the armory. Armory magazine key is given by Rolo when the main quest requires it.

This thread is also from when the game was in EA so some things have changed since :)
