Report a translation problem
- Lights distance does indeed determine the distance at which light sources are rendered - lower settings conserve resources while higher settings ensure lights in the distance don't simply 'pop in' as you get closer to them.
- Texture resolution 'normal' gives you the full resolution, while 'half' and 'quarter' are used to conserve video RAM on lower-end machines in exchange for blurrier textures. The fact that they're positioned underneath 'normal' in the drop down menu is just a quirk of the graphics menu.
One word of warning, in case you run into the same issue later on: At least for me, the game always defaults to capped 30 FPS when I start it (IIRC this has always been the case for me with GoaT, in all versions). I have to go to the graphics menu to correct that every time I start the game. So if you're suddenly getting low FPS, check to see if this is the issue.
