Problem with XBOX One Controller

(FYI I got the game on gog.com)

I can start the game but when i can play the menu at the bottom seems to skip through entirely all the same. It doesn't happen with my xbox 360 controller. seems like the digital pad is always clicking to the right (or left?) ... i'm using a xbox one controller (standard, elite and cod aw one) on windows 8.1. I hope this can be fixed for the final release?

(btw: the controller works in other games so it's not a general problem)

there are controller options with presets. Make sure it's set to xbox one and not 360.

And make sure it's not on mouse and keyboard cause mouse doesn't work.

i already tried that. it's set to xbox one (7/8) controller and it still behaves like that. also if i choose xbox one (win10) or xbox 360... doesn't change a bit unfortunately.

Same thing here.... I tried different presents, but the problem remains .. The Xbox Controller is not working anymore... Any idea how can I go back to the precious update?? I'm recording the game for my channel, and this is ruinning my schedule for today

There was a bug related to the Xbox One controller in the last W10 update (Anniversary).

Are you guys sure your issue is specifically related to this game?

Yes, pretty sure... I was playing normally in the morning... then after the update nothing was working the way is suppossed to

Sorry for the confusion during this update. New version 1.75 is up. Please follow these steps:

1) Launch the game
2) (Select correct gamepad preset if appropriate)
3) Go to Options->Controls and click on "Reset To Default Mapping"
4) Try the default mapping (if the default keys don't work that's already a problem)
5) Go back to Options->Controls and redo your binding

hi, and probleme with demo on xbox one s, the game crash after candle. I have the game on pc but on xbox one s game crash

Thanks Wooke, we know that the current build on Xbox ONE could crash in that particular moment. But that should be the only time, you can try again.

Hello , i buy this game and im very disappointed , control my xbox1 joypad is impossible. The mouse is still moving up without touching joypad :/

Same here, I might ask for a refund until it's fixed.

Same Problem with X-Box One Controller via Wireless Adapter. D-Pad Up and Down doesent work. D-Pad Left is Down and D-Pad Right is Up.

In the Game its like D-Pad Left is always clicking Left.

X-Box 360 Controller via Wireless Adapter works fine.

By the Way its the second Game where the XOne Controller not working right. In Vikings Wolves of Midgard i had to use the 360 Controller as Well. This Game had the exact same problem as discribed above.
