Day / Night cycle
Hello,

Can someone share more info on the Day / Night cycle. Is the change automatic in X amount of time, or is it scripted and change on certain events?

Also bonus question :) will it have greater impact further into development?
-like having the enemies see less when it's dark, so it is easy to sneak around
-or make the enemies see better with their big red eyes? :)

been playhing for a while, seems to be an automatic thing (changes gradually in x amount of time)

(i'm still in the early part of the game, playing in the courtyard) night seems to have no affect on guards noticing you - feels like at night you should have a better advantage?

but love the night affect - you can see the rats red eyes glowing, and rushing for a hiding spot in the dark is a new adventure

Thanks :) I've reached to cortyard and still night time - I've found the blacksmith hammer and 3 passed but cannot give them, as both the little mouses and blacksmith are sleeping :), so am wondering when will it turn day again.

In a normal game yes, but maybe in this one is the opposite? :) i just get this little furry feeling who knows.

Once you've found a certain character, you can use the beds to sleep and change the time of day. Alternatively, you can wait it out.

The day night cycle is a nice feature but it's absolutely infuriating because I can't see anything (as the screen goes nearly black) and guards can still see you perfectly. Then to top it off - it feels like when I resort to using a lantern they can spot you even easier. It's a MASSIVE disadvantage to the player- and has soured an otherwise brilliant game. Perhaps there's a problem/bug, because the night cycle here seems to last far longer than the day, and due to the issue of being essentially blind has led to many frustrations.

Seriously, I'm stuck roaming around blind in the courtyard and I can't see any paths because everything's black. I've now been killed 4 times in about 5 minutes. Very aggrivating attempting to play a game when you're essentially blind.
