Origional world or based on something like Mouseguard?
Just curious as I know of Mouseguard but only read a few stories from it.

This story/world/lore is fully original.

Of course a biped mouse ring some bells (but not the same one for everyone^^), but Seith and Paul wrote every word of the story.

Now that you talk about it mouse guard would be so bad ass if it turned out to be a game like this one :)

Who knows maybe in the future right devs?
