Problems with the control

I looked at several discussions and saw that I'm not the only one with this problem ... When the control is connected, the screen goes up and I can't walk or open the menu through the control, since this has no problem.

Turning the controller off and on again it stopped happening, the mouse disappeared, as if it recognized the controller, but I still can't walk or do anything. Steam recognizes control, but the game does not. I've even reinstalled it.

My controller is original from sony for playstation, the dualshock 4, which works by bluetooth.

Guys, please help me.

same here, the controller used to work at least when wired, but since yesterday it doesn't work at all

not only it doesn't work, when it does - it's just a chaotic movement: menu opens and closes by itself, you can't walk or move the camera etc. The funny thing is that the developers advise to play the game using a controller, but can't fix it whatsoever. Oh, the irony.

Weah bro. The game is cool but only if played by the controller, the developers released it with this same problem and do not care, I am thinking of refunding while I still can.

Mine worked with playstation controller the last time I played, which was only last week. Today I started the game up and it wont register any button presses even though it says controller is connected... The developer must have screwed with something in a recent update maybe?

I had the same! I also use DS4 v2.

Actually I uninstalled game, and move to another from my over 900 games... I played like 1/10 of a game and found lack of mission pins on a map as a no for lazy me 😝 I have tried 3 times to play this game... Each time longer, but... No, I don't have time to games I don't enjoy.

Same issue for me using a PS4 official controller.
Game worked today then after a short break and a steam client update, the game does not recognize controller anymore.
Weird bug...

Steam has native support of Direct input controllers, including DS4... I will not install 3rd party software to play this. And that's why I also bought Unravel on Steam, not Origin, to use DS4 in game 😉 I have old Logitech F710 PAD, and it works everywhere as a XBOX controller, it has even the same buttons! But it's now clunky for me as hell after using DS4 😝

I've 2 different gamepads which they work perfectly in all games except this. I've tried several methods to fix it but the buttons are always missed up.

note: when I first played the game at the the start of this month it was recognizing the controllers as expected but after a few days when I opened it again all hell break loose!

Developers, Please sort out your game.

I'm having a similar problem.

It seems as though some of the buttons have been remapped. I just reinstalled the game to give it another play through, but it's basically impossible to play with the broken controller support.

I'm using a DS4 to play. I never had this problem a few years ago when I first played the game.

Just got the game in the Sale, and my wireless Xbox controller dont work, it moves alone up up up. So what i did i fixed it by updating the controller with the "Xbox accessories" app on windows 10. Now it works.

Try to unplug all other peripherals. I had similar issue with other games when flightsim joystick and rudder pedals plugged into USB hub.
