Mushroom help please!

I managed to find all mushrooms around the tower except for one single ear-cap! Any idea which one I might be missing? It is driving me crazy.
Any help appreciated :)

You can find more of each mushroom than you need, so there isn't a one single ear-cap that you missed. Tried looking on the various tree stumps and fallen trees, they usually grow on them. I assume that by "around the tower" you also mean Northern Slope and not just Far Tower location?

oh so they are not limited to the far tower? ... Whereabouts is Northern slope?

When you come to Far Tower from courtyard turn to the right near the first grave move a little bit along the road and turn to right again at the first corner. There is a way that leads to the Northern slope. You can check the map (if you have it. if you did not find the map you can buy it).

thanks! i was not that far into main quest so that area was not available for me. It is now :)

Hilarious. I had same problem. Just needed 1 more ear cap. We must have collected every single mushroom in far tower. :P

LOL yess! And then I was obsessing over that one missing ear-cap! Collected enough of all other day and night mushrooms around far tower alone and was sure the missing ear-cap was there as well! Then found 6 more ear-caps in the Northern slope that I subsequently had access to. lol

I think some areas need to be unlocked before he offers them? Eventually you can have a map for every location. They're not always hugely useful imho.

Btw most if not all maps that Rolo sells, can also be found somehwere, hidden. (But as you will also be finding way more money that you can spend, you can as well buy them from Rolo anyway.)
