Help with king's crown?

I can't get Rolo to make the crown for me. I've finished all the quests except the urns and I've found 13 gold nuggets. Is this a bug?

You must ask him to find some clothes...than the kings dress....than you must pay seven nuggets to Rolo...after six hours he made your crown...

I've asked him, then the kings dress, then nothing but a thank you. There is no response after that. Got a feeling I'm gonna have to restart.

been stuck on this myself for ages. I mean, why the hell would I think to ask Rolo? he's a blacksmith. that is not the same thing as a goldsmith, and I've done everything else without his help. that's a really annoying 'feature' for a game when there are players who like to play without assists.
