Maybe some people is waiting you there to give you precious directions^^.
Am I just out of luck?
Find a bed and sleep.
BTW....The game isn't "Tedious and confusing"....just is not a hand holding game, and I happy for that.
I did find Silas. That helped, because I got a new map of the area, but then he sent me on even more item hunts. It seems the game is nothing more than a series of boring (and often confusing) fetch quests. I ultimately decided to uninstall and apply for a refund. The game is gorgeous, but the gameplay is just plain bad in my opinion... massive letdown, and certainly not worth the 25 bucks I wasted on it. Here's hoping the refund is accepted.
As far as tedious, I'm afraid so;
You'll find yourself for 80% of the game going back and forth, sneaking around rats all the time.
Nothing really ever changes.
It's unique visuals and artistic drive is very captivating, however the tasks the game has us do just seems to become boring after awhile. There's only so many times a player can hold the sneak button past virtually the same enemies before the drive to wanna keep playing begins to fade.
Also, I found there is a lot of reading, and truth be told I found myself literarily falling asleep while playing, because things were so tedious.
Maybe with a sequal, more add ons and more exciting things can be added?
