Completely stuck
For the past day I've made zero progress and don't know what to do in the game anymore. I am at the point of turning the silver ring to Silas for the last main quest but want to wrap up the side quests. The three I cannot complete are:
Finding the 3rd dead guard (looked all over the catacombs and only found two)
Identifying the 5 Smugglers(says I need a key from the kitchen - there is no key anywhere) and Finding the Evidence to Prove ____ is the Master (asked all guards, searched all areas the strongbox was useless, idk what to do)
I am at a complete loss, I've searched every accessable area and talked with every NPC, any help would be appreciated.

You won't be able to complete the dead guard quest until after you advance a little in the main story progression. No need to worry about missing it.

For the smugglers, I think you'll be able to finish it asking around people who are often in the kitchen.

Finding evidence of who the master is might fall into place once you're able to get that key.

I can't remember the exact sequence of events, but you can only find the third guard after a certain point in the story where you're given access to a new area of the catacombs.
Spoiler: The third guard is in the area underneath the magpie

Similar with the evidence to prove the identity of the master. It's at a certain point in fairly late into the story which I don't think you're at yet?
Spoiler: The evidence is in the kitchen and can be accessed from when Silas is drinking there

I wasn't able to get the final smuggler either so can't help you with that.

Hope that helps - good luck!

Both of these will unlock after talking to the magpie, then to find out about the master "talk around" the kitchen a bit more.

I am in the completely same situation as you

I quit the game already. Its just an insane maze and being that I'm an older gamer and my memory isn't great trying to remember how to get back to the same place I've been to a million times and not knowing what I need to complete to unlock the next stage is making it incredibly frustrating. Afraid my patience wears thin with games like this. Good luck,I can't put myself through any more circle game mental torture.
