Creating Co-Op mode in multiplayer

Type YES if you want the creators of STALKER Call Of Pripyat create a Co-Op version of this game. I think that is better if you play whit your frends.

stalker coop isnt exactly impossible, there have been a few people out there to mod it in (i saw one CoP mod with it, tried it-not able to coop-but fun for a laugh), even if they are half working, there have been some for the alpha builds of stalker as well.

im waiting on stalkersoup to be out of beta personally... supposed to be quite the mod when it is. just search 'stalkersoup coop' in google and take a few minutes to read some forum posts. it is apparantly in the works in one form or another. however, i dont exactly reccommend trying it out if you just want to 'enjoy' a new stalker experience just yet, it has a lot of bugs, and is still in beta after all...but the more we can get to help test, the more issues we can eliminate.

Never said it was amazing, but I played the european server for a while and I will admit it did scratch the co-op Stalker itch a bit in the beginning. I mean it was hilarious watching a friend get sucked into a whirligig for the first time and some of the battles we had with other groups of stalkers were pretty amazing. I don't know if anything has changed since I last played it about 6-8 months ago but I would say it is worth a download if only to try it out for a couple hours with friends.

No, you were pretty close with your original assessment. The game is full of issues, and unless you are playing with friends it can be a very dull at time and infuriating at others. Especially when you run into kill-on-sight bandits almost everywhere you go. But it did have some moments that were pretty fun but maybe that is my Stalker bias showing.

The developers were shut down. There won't be another Stalker game. However, they have created a new studio and are making a game called Survarium, which is basically a STALKER MMO.

That article is two years old man. They announced shortly after that, that the project was tanked.

Stalker is a Single Player expirence only. Making it coop would ruin the game. There are already waaaay too many coop first person shooters out there most of which are half a**ed. No reason to ruin a great game by making it into a sheep.

Of course I'd love it. Developers don't value cooperative play though.
