Misery 2.0.2 - Toolkits

What sort of toolkits and which maps i should be looking for?

i found calibration tools at Zaton Mercenary Camp!

If by mercenary camp you mean the waste processing plant, that means you are a sniper, right?
The basic tools are in ranger camp and the fine tools are in iron forest anomaly.
In ranger camp they are on top of the metal structure on your left as you enter the main building.
In iron forest you enter a building, go down the stairs and they are under the stairs.

i'm assulter! and by mercs camp i mean the one you have to do quest for OWL where you get a notebook

Yeah thats the waste processing plant and that means they changed the locations again in 2.0.2.
In 2.0.1 basic and fine tools were in same places for all classes, calibration tools were in diff locations for each class, and waste processing plant was for sniper.
I played 2.0.2 for a while and the basic tools were still in ranger camp so most likely the ones in iron forest are still there, they seem to only interchange the locations for the calibration tools and you are safe because you already found those.

@Brutus™ and @kaay, I have done a search on another forum about the tools (because I am also looking them ^_^' ) and I found this posted (bear in mind that it was for Misery 2.0.1 "Black Road" so I am not sure yet if in 2.0.2 patch "Black Road" or the "Zone" if they change the place):

"Zanton:

Basic Tools - In the Ranger Station
The tools are In the room where Duty and the Bandits try to perform some kind of weapons deal during the quest chain. Climb the ladder onto the metal walkway. At the far end on your right, the tools are sitting on a pipe.

Fine Tools - In the Iron Forest
Go into the building in the southwest corner. The tools are behind the stairs leading down to the locked door.

Calibration Tools - In the Waste Processing Station
On the top floor, in the south-western side of the building, there is a bag just behind the top of the three tubes. The tools are in the bag.

Yanov:

Basic Tools - In the Volkhov AA Complex
In the under ground room where you find the bursar, there is a open red crate. The tools are sitting on the ground in this red crate.

Fine Tools - Near the Jupiter Factory entrance
Outside In the south eastern corner there is a shack by a brick wall. The tools are on the ground between the wall and shack.

Calibration Tools - Near the Jupiter Factory entrance
Immediately south of the entrance to the Jupiter Factory is a bus. The bag in the door of the bus contains the calibration tools."


I hope that the tools are still there and that they haven't change their locations ^_^'

In Yanov, The AA complex near the scientists has basic tools in the same spot for all classes, as soon as you enter the main room in the basement ( you might also find a burer in here) it's located inside one of the square-redish crates.

in pripyat in the movie theater building? i think on the second floor towards the far end behind a desk is some tools.... or it might be a stash i cant remember lol

oh man out of all the times i have played through CoP , vanilla and modded i never noticed that ladder in the ranger station haha..... as assaulter in misery i just found tools, camelbak and a SV sniper rifle
