Downloading Absolute Nature 3 Lite...
It says i don't have to restart my game to use this mod and enhance the visual appearance of foilage. Mod noob here, I haven't mucked with mods before, the only mod i've played with is Black Mesa. Hopefully I can get this mod installed and running w/o having to reinstall the game or losing my game save.

I choose to experiment with 'lite' version for two reason.
* can continue my current game
* i only have a 2GB video card (670) and the full version says that you better have 3GB

Downloading now, if i dare to install and run it, i'll let you know how it goes and share some impressions.

Hmmm... the 'lite' version says you need 3GB too. Not sure i'll be able to run this, my GPU has access to 4GB total, but only 2GB is onboard dedicated vram. I'm gonna try it anyway and see what happens... what could possibly go wrong :)

edit: Oh, the readme is talking about system memory and not video memory specifially. I got plenty-o system memory with 8G.

Works great!

The trees and grass look a little nicer which makes roaming the zone a little more immersive and pleasantly dreary. Framerates didn't take a hit with the 'lite' version (i'm running with adaptive vsync so 60 is still 60 fps), but i did notice increased vram usage. Now using 1.4ish compared 1G w/o the mod.

I like that this just improves the visuals w/o changing anything dramatic. Vanilla game that looks a little nicer.

I might try the 'full' verion with atmosfear after finishing my first playthru with just the 'lite' version. I'm thinking i might give misery a go on a 2nd playthru which i understand incorporates the absolute mods too.

Just added Absolute Structures 1.0 to the mix too.

When i first got the game and loaded it up, i thought the graphics left something to be desired. These two mods pretty much satisfy that desire.
