Disable head bobbing?

I get sick of that much camera shaking so I have to stop after few minutes of playing. Any chance to disable this? I mean its realistic but anything but comfortable for me.

Open the console and type in cam_inert 0. That should completely disable it.

Tried that already. Even changed something in the cfg.files. Nothing worked. Maybe I try to reinstall it and check that then.

How do you open the console again? Googled it back then but I can't find the site anymore.

install the complete mod..will give you a nice graphical enhancement and gets rid of the head bob...

And on the realism, head bob isnt realistic. Sure you bob but your brain compensates for it and it feels like your not. Unlike when pc games do it when its up, down, up, down...

Edit this file;

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\misc\effectors.ltx

Right at the top of the file look for and change it to this:

[bobbing_effector]

run_amplitude = 0.0
walk_amplitude = 0.0
limp_amplitude = 0.0

ok i know its old but i wanted to remove that head bob, and cam_inert 0 didn't work, but when i check that file i can't find the gamedata folder its weird...

In vanilla all files are packed inside .db achives, you won't find them in open.

so just putting that gamedata file in Stalker Call of Pripyat directory will do the trick? even if it exist in the archives?
