It's just a mod. Not a newer vesion of the game like they did with metro.
Complete mod is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ according to most of the forums and the comments on modDB.
I'm only interested in either Reloaded or Redux. MISERY seems controversial with its (apparently) fake/cheap difficulty, ex. people spotting you 5 miles away and sniping you with a pistol or something while taking 70 gauss gun rounds to the eyes.
Hasn't ever happened to me. I've snuck up right behind a group of bandits, and usually it only takes 1 well placed shot to kill anybody. They're as accurate as you.. which is to say, rather accurate. But its not insane like some people try to say.
Is it possible to tweak some MISERY settings to your liking? Long War for XCOM makes the game harder, but makes it easy to edit the .ini files.
