Mostly people blowing a gasket over mostly nothing. Especially since the OGs didn't go poof.

there is stalkers enhanced and there is stalkers normals like before.. try to look for in your store. Look the game where I have posted my topic.

Stalker non enhanced devs wanted panic crisis only and it worked very well, sadly

For those have good setup and Stalker trilogy haven't need to buy enhanced trilogy again. Also, for those have good setup buy STALKER 2.

Check reviews FIRST after disabling default steam filters! then decide if you want to buy a slapdashed game ,,,

Honestly the original 3 games were buggy hort messes that you frequently had to restart from the beginning 3-4 times to get a single complete playthrough. Even with the limited community "hotfix"s it really was not much help. The ONLY reason they sold was that it was a Great story despite the games themselves being barely playable ESPECIALLY on high end systems at the time.
This was the reason I decided that as much as I loved the stalker storyline I was gonna wait at least 2 years for any (unlikely) fixes before I touched stalker 2 .. and even then only at 65% off or lower!

I see that no one has explained to you, in a normal way, what is wrong with the Remaster versions? Everything is simple, but the Ukrainians will not tell you this. Nothing good! This is a hastily made console port, and not even tested. The new versions have absolutely all the bugs of 20 years ago, but in addition to them, new ones were added, even ancient Pre-Build bugs! The game has too many errors, shortcomings and worsened AI of mutants and NPCs. In "Call of Pripyat" mutants stopped being aggressive, and dogs and boars completely lost the ability to attack on the run, because this was specially done for the Console versions, but was not removed in the PC version. The icons of the characteristics were redone with crooked neural networks, or completely removed, which made it inconvenient to study the interface. The graphics were improved, but the textures became blurry, and in many places crooked, for example, the faces of some NPCs are disfigured. And on some locations for some reason they made textures of locations from other locations (For example, the Scientists' Bunker on Jupiter now stands on the textures of the Yantar location). And this is only a small part, if I list all the bugs, I will spend too much time and text on it. The funniest thing in all this is that all these bugs were fixed long ago in the Standard versions, especially by Fans. But the current developers did not apply anything, and they clearly did not even check the obtained result. But they introduced numerous Censorship into the game, having removed from the game virtually everything Soviet, Statues, Red Stars, Posters (Which are now just white squares), even harmless characters from cartoons about friendship and camaraderie were removed. Apparently this Censorship is the only thing that really worried them when creating these Enchanted versions.
