Thanks for the advice but I asked for mods friend, not rude behaviour.
Hey thanks man but all these mods so far are broken links for me if there is an alternate way to get some of them i'd appreciate it thank you for your effort though.
I didn't realise. I apologise. Perhaps that forum is a better place to ask than this.
It probably doesn't sound very helpful but Misery is really very tough only in the beginning. By the time you've done most of the initial missions in Zaton you will already be pretty badass, but even then, there may be places on the map best left until later, after you have been deeper into the Zone (the waste processing station is the first that comes to mind).
Good luck in the Zone. Misery makes it one of the best places to take virtual afternoon stroll in!
I very much agree with this guy, for as much as people complain about misery, I have never experienced anything so thrilling.
And no matter how much you tell people to scout and plan, they really don't.
But I found I downloaded the broken linked files, from before they died. You can PM me if you really want to try them. I never tried them and don't know if they work or not.
I have a lot of hours in the Zone and am currently playing Recon Dark Mode--I thought it would add some extra challenge but really it just makes how you operate slightly different from vanilla Misery, like also stocking up on lots of batteries to keep the nightvision up and running, and making use of the limited nighttime hours by making a beeline for objectives and running back to base to beat the sunrise.
(For example: I checked out the Iron Forest, went back to base using my loadout save to buy more batteries, ammo and some landmines, and approached the location for the second time.
I got attacked by dogs on the way and had to restore some health, but once on location I used a pre-planned approach to avoid the bloodsuckers and controllers until I was in cover behind the shipping containers--I popped an antirad pill to be able to use the cover provided by the irradiated containers effectively, took out the melee zombies, waited for the bandits who had seen me to be killed by the mutants and then took out the controllers (at absolutely the maximum range of my rifle for one of them which was both funny and annoying).
Then I baited the bloodsuckers to attack my location, luring three of them into the electrical anomalies before wounding the remainder with protectively placed landmines which I finished easily with just one shotgun blast each. Next I popped a psi pill, waited for the side effects to dissipate and then approached the poltergeist at a range which let me take it out with a rifle grenade.
In the end I had used all of my batteries by the time I got back to the Shadovsk and the (quite daunting) mission was a piece of cake, even with my rather close range Recon-specialist weapons.)
I have similar, but no so well planned out. I've never experienced anything close as I have to this mod, and have still not gotten over stalker 2 cancellation.
Thank You Friend i wouldve responded sooner but my keyboard fried on me so i had to get a new one I'll try that link soon.
I Downloaded The Adjustments And I Honestly Cant Tell If They Worked What So Ever Everything Seems To Be The Same Because The Installation Guide Was So Vague
Perhaps you can do some simple experiments, like see if bloodsuckers have their breath sounds back.
Pick some other easily verifiable things that the mod claims to have adjusted and see if it is implemented.
Other than that, perhaps ask on that thread or on r/stalker, for assistance. Reddit seems more active than here.
Will Do Thanks Man
