SGM 2.2 Last "Unknown Sample" location?

This has been irritating me ever since I got this last part of this quest and it's REALLY annoying me since, no matter how hard I try to check in Zaton, Jupiter and Pripyat I can't get the rotten, near-useless "Bear" Seraphim detector to ping up the location of this last accursed "Unknown Artifact", if anyone can help with this that has completed this annoying-as-♥♥♥♥ side quest it'd greatly be appreciated. :) I just need ONE more of these damn things, I was lucky enough to get the first five by sheer luck alone and i'm wondering if this last "Unknown Sample" is in the SGM 2.2-introduced maps such as the Swamps from CS or the Cordon from CS/SoC, again, any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

in what spots did you found them ? I need to found last one just like you
mine spots were boiler and iron (steel ? ) forest in the Zaton, that forest near the scientists bunker and cement plant in the Jupiter and the last one was on the basketball court near the laundry in Pripyat

I can't remember too much exactly since it has been some time of course... ^^; What I remember is that I got my first "unknown artifact" near the laundry building at an SGM custom-placed acid anomaly and then another I got around some place in Pripyat near some wooden roots or something? Like I said I can't remember much since it has been a while after all... ^^; I'll go check the Red Forest soon to see if I can find it there, I highly doubt it though since it's just being WAAAAAY too damn elusive after all... :<

Now that I think about it though... I do recall seeing a ♥♥♥♥ load of artifacts that shown on the mini-map that the custom yet VERY useful Omega detector detected, only problem is is that they're way high up on a building that I just can't see how to get up to. I'm guessing that there MIGHT (emphasis on "MIGHT" since i'm not even sure of this of course... ^^; ) be a custom-placed Space Bubble anomaly that teleports one to the top of said building to collect them. It's near the anomaly field that is easy to identify thanks to the moving acid anomaly bubble moving back and forth on the plant-like line spanning between two buildings, you should know this landmark already. heh heh :) Like I said though I have NO idea whether or not to confirm whether or not the damn last "unknown artifact" is there since I can't find any way to get up there to check and, like I said before, i'm guessing there MIGHT be a space bubble that teleports one up there but again, not too certain, so yeah... ^^;

I found only one in the Pripyat like I said earlier so I think it must be there (2 artifacts in each place of the basic Call Of Pripyat)
I don't think that it's in the anomaly you're talking about (I already checked it) (just in my case, I think they spawn randomly) but if you want to go up on that building, you need to climb on that roots and be aware of that anomaly, it causes a lot of chemical damage.
And by the way, no problem, we have the same objetive ;D

Thing is is that I dunno where to start to get on top of said building, so yeah... ^^;

And yeah, i'm so glad i'm not the only one here. ^^ The main reason why i'm even interested in completing this side mission is because of the reward of it might be that the "new artifacts" like the EXTREMELY useful Dragon Eye artifact might end up spawning in various places with a new detector that's SOOOO much better than the crappy "Seraphim" detector, so yeah, that's why I want to complete it, to see whether or not it'll happen. :)

If we're thinking of the same building, you have to go up the massive building you went through to get to the underground mono lab in pripyat, there are a good lot of artifacts up there (at least two from what i can tell), I went up there and got an achievement for finding all types of artifacts on vanilla cop.

@Rookie (ZOE) you need to start at some kind of metal ladder, go up through chemical anomaly, jump left on the other root and it's easy from there

Ah, I see. No problem. I have no idea where this "metal ladder" is, but i'll look around the two buildings for it to see if it's there or not. I doubt it though since I don't recall ever seeing such a thing near the two buildings. At any rate, please keep an eye on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Seraphim detector, we both are looking for the same accursed object after all, hoping that, upon side mission completion, the new artifacts such as the invaluable Dragon Eye: http://i.imgur.com/1LZgXod.jpg (had it modified to remove the radioactive properties, making it a safe artifact with shown awesome properties, normally it has radiation on it so be sure to remove it via the proper artifact handler so that you can wear it without fear of Radioactivity from it :P ) will spawn from time to time around some anomaly fields and so forth with a possible new non-crappy Veles detector that, hopefully, works like the Omega Detector and if not then at least like the standard Veles detector then. heh heh I'd consider that a worthwhile reward for all the pain this last damn "unknown artifact" is giving me just finding it. XD lol

EDIT: I managed to finally get to where those damn hard-to-get artifacts are via climbing the roots like you were trying to point out. Sadly there was no "unknown artifact" when I attempted to find it using the crappy Seraphim detector, damnit... DX

no, it's not, trust me
usually if you sleep all night and wake up at 7AM and there were emission in the night, the eclipse last from 9 to 11 AM

Seriously...? I found all five relatively easily enough through searching at Zaton, Jupiter and Pripyat and I never really noticed that, again though, I don't think the time really matters, I think so at least... ^^;

Hey , where is the forest you specify near the scientist's bunker? i can't find it (3rd artefact hunt) . I found the first two you said about .
