But the file is listed as coc_torrent.torrent. its only 18kb, when I click on it windows ask what to use to open with. Like the sdk down load says CoC_SDK_editors.7z.torrent. and according to windows this is curropted. And its only 25kb. The only readable files are the two patches. The manul patch is about 154,446kb and the other is 1,207kb which both look about the right size to me considering what is involved..
I'm not gonna try to hard to get you to download it though. It's not very good
I got the 6 part download from moddb http://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/downloads
For example, I download the 1st file, this is what the listing says
1 of 6
S.T.A.L.K.E.R._-_Call_of_Chernobyl_setup.exe for 0.74mb (771,301 bytes) So it says about 74 mega bytes which would be about right for a complier, but really it is 771 kilobytes which is boarder line pending on for what.
What I am getting is S.T.A.L.K.E.R._-_Call_of_Chernobyl_setup[1] for the 753 kiliobytes. when this [1] is used, it is usaly because of it being a duplicated download file. But there is no other file but what is downloaded. And has no extention, windows want me to use a file to open it. Well that is not going to work either..
And all files down load from this same location, sjc1.dl.dbolical.com. I understand what your saying, but this is what I am getting...
After that, i just ran the exe and the mod installed. Its a self standing mod, can be installed and played separately from the CoP original.
CoC does not seem to be aimed at the average player like me, it seems to be aimed more towards modders, offering them a sort of bare-bones to work their magic on.

Everything came down clear except this file here, S.T.A.L.K.E.R._-_Call_of_Chernobyl_setup[1]
I tried a re-name
S.T.A.L.K.E.R._-_Call_of_Chernobyl_setup[1] to S.T.A.L.K.E.R._-_Call_of_Chernobyl_setup.exe
That worked, ty bro, good hunting...
TIP:
Like Kaay said, the game is self supported and dosen't need to be in the cop to play. For those who are woundering, if you have it installed in its own directory which is a good ideal so when you unpack the dbase dosen't get confussed togeather. The cs unpacker that also unpackes the COP dbase will also work for coc...
