Beyond that I've no clue. I'm limiting any and all spoilers to Stalker 2.
That's false. It's fan made but GSC shared some assets with them, which they promptly discarded and made their own fanfic nonsense.
SoC > CS > CoP, that's all.

Surely you didn't really think that GSC section meant all those names worked on the mod, did you?
They are crediting GSC and it's employees because the mod is based on their game, not because those guys worked on that mod.
if they still work there, they could have creative influence and have this mod matter. i just don't want to miss any bit of the story leading up to stalker 2
Really expensive DLC (which cuts off some of the story)
Obscenely large game (pretty pictures are nice but get boring if the gameplay is boring/tedious)
AI didn't look to be a promising upgrade as seen in the trailer (might be better now or on harder difficulties)
It's been in preorder for a year now? Preorder is an overall slezzy FOMO tactic (especially if you get "exclusive content") and for it to take this long is even more sleazy.
They are selling skins already lol
So for now I'm not interested in Heart of Chernobyl.
Shadow of Chernobyl took me 13.7 hours, but I think I could've played it slower.
Clear Sky took me 18.7 hours.
If you're planning on experiencing every single thing the games have to offer, then you might be looking at those completionist times, but otherwise you can expect the first two games to take around 15 hours. Presumably COP is the same.
The times mentioned in the OP, each one is linked to how long to beat, are Completionist times, and they're not the average time either, but a cherry picked average excluding all times without a note or a description that justifies the run.
Since I beat each one before, it'll be much faster I feel.
I only am redoing them to get the story.
Before Lost Alpha was leaked in 2014 (which was why it released as "early access" after the fact) GSC was looking to sell Lost Alpha along with their actual lineup, however later reconsidered this offer (probably in part due to the writing and quest design), it was more than just being nice and crediting them at that point.
In another timeline LA would be considered a Stalker game in official context.
Sure, but they still didn't work on it as a company is what I'm saying. They provided assets to the LA team and such, not take over the development.
can you provide a link to explain what you're saying. I've too many questions now.
