The iron forest anomaly (Misery)

How the hell am i supposed to get inside? As soon as i even come a little close the place, the controller immediately takes me out.

Been awhile since I've touched the Misery Mod, and I'm not quite sure what the area looks like anymore, but you could try taking it out from a massive distance with a scoped rifle.

(If that's even viable, as I said it's been a long time.)

M203 or GP25 grenade launcher. Mines could theoretically work I guess, but I've never tried them out on psi enemies. It's possible they'll just throw the ied at you lol

Hit it with a M203 or GP25 as mentioned. Odds are the problem is primarily the poltergeist, not the controller, since the latter seems to be more agressive. You need to longrange it with a good amount of ammo to invest in bringing it down or launch a nade at it. Beware of bloodsuckers in the area.

I sniped both controllers from extreme range (for a recon) with a broken looted assault rifle and very limited ammo. I had to aim a good deal above their heads in order to hit and it took a few tries but I did it (day 1 in the Zone). Difficult but definitely not impossible.

As someone whose dealt with Iron Forest, use a shotgun of some sort against the bloodsuckers, snipe both controllers or deal with them with an assault rifle behind some cover while staying out of their psi field. USE HIGH TISSUE DAMAGING ROUNDS AGAINST THE CONTROLLERS, and be sure to be hitting them in the brain. Afterwards you'll see a poltergist, or as I like to call them Psi-Fu<kers. Use a hand grenade, Grenade Launcher, or if you have a screen helmet get close and annilate it's @r$e

Best thing to do is to avoid Iron Forrest early in the game, specially if you are somewhat new to Misery. When you get a decent gun and alot of ammo pretty much the only way to deal with them is long range and granades. You have alot of cover in the Iron Forrest so use it wisely!
Also, a good tactic i discovered is to try and take cover near the anomaly itself! The electric field will kill any bloodsucker or lower tier mutants charging you and it will deal a great deal of damage to the controllers so keep that in mind! A good idea would be to bring an eco suit cuz it will give you that extra radiation and psy resisstance! gl stalker :D

Eco suite is too fragile. Get starter gear, AP ammo, some drugs for psy and kill the controller. Bloodsuckers can be killed with a shotgun on close.

It never hurts to ask a bunch of Stalkers to take you out there...yeah you have to pay them...but they will engage the enemies and most likely most...if not all will die! You should be able to recoup most of your loses with all their loot.
