just cancell them, you'll hardly need them. if you're on 32-bit you'll need to delete the MSVCR120.dll file or the game will flip out. if you're on 64-bit then you'll need the MSVCR120.dll file or the game won't run.
you can get MSVCR120.dll by downloading Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013.
to remove MSVCR120.dll you'll have to find it in the folder were you installed the game. NOT from the Progam Files (86x) folder.
if you look into the Winrar files you'll see some of the files are the same, so extracting them would be a waste of time.
Also what was the point of downloading all 4 parts if I just needed to open up the first one
you only need to open the first one becuase it has the installer, the other files are core pieces of the game and the reason why there pieces is becuase Moddb has a maximum file size limit.
look at it this way. Part 1 is like the first CD you'd put into your computer to start installing the game, while CD 1 2 and 3 has the rest of the pieces but couldn't fit into one CD.
EDIT:Am I supposed to see myself transparent if I look straight down or get close to Sidorvich?
what do you mean? see your own feet? you're not suppose to look at yourself in third person. if you want third person you can use Bind cam_1 kf1, but it doesn't work in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Lost Alpha.
