Getting past helipad minefield

Ok so playing misery mod and I've gotten to all the helicopters except the one by the minefield. So how do I get past all the mines? Last time I played (just regular COP) I just stocked up on health stuff and charged forward repairing myself after every explosion. I'm sure that isn't going to work in Misery. Is there an underground tunnel or something that leads up to the helipad? Everything else is either fenced off or mined.

Follow the sticks that are stuck into the ground

Try throwing bolts. Mines make a clicking sound, when one hits them, so you are safe to walt there, where no sound was made.

If this is what I think (even if I'm running vanilla), you can walk along the right fence all the way up to the helicopter and you won't trigger any mine.

I always throw bolts and walk forward where no click sounds from. Never tried the right fence though: seems worth a look. Never noticed sticks stuck in the ground but that sounds reasonable too.

Yea just watched a video of using the sticks as a guide. Never about knew about that but I wish I had the first time I played it would have saved me a lot of health kits and stimpaks.
