Oh yeah its good, if you want a Call of Chernobyl fork, leaning towards vanilla but with better quest design and writing

Thanks dude, is it only better because of the Quest design? Or are there some addition of gameplay?

It has some other neat stuff too, like you getting mugged if you get close to death, and if you have a companion while such a thing happens, theres a very small chance your companion will be taken hostage, and you need to ask around to find him, along with needing to ask other stalkers to locate certain individuals for quests instead of following a marker, and generally getting the tools for mechanics is less of a hassle and not RNG based, and it also restores a bit of content thats cut from CoC but was in the vanilla trilogy such as NPC greetings, but the biggest thing about it is the dynamic faction relations, which means as your game goes on factions can declare war or ceasefires with no rules for the most part, its possible for Freedom and Duty to not shoot eachother on sight, Mercs can become neutral to Loners, Ecologists can be the 2nd biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ next to Monolith, but its very simple out of the box and much more moddable because it leans towards vanilla CoC as is

Depends, if you want a more dynamic and flexible gameplay loop while also being more customizable due to its blank slate nature (although the mod is really underrated so not a lot of addons sadly) and its great quest design and variety, Call of the Zone is for you, if you want more immersion and a more in-depth story and more (although limiting) addons, Anomaly is for you, it really depends on your tastes, personally for me once you reach the top in Anomaly and beat the story there isnt much left to do and generally progressing to turn off the scorcher while needing to be on neutral terms with the Ecologists basically railroads you while CoTZ makes it so that other factions can make the Psy-helm for you logically IE Clear Sky

totally not biased btw lmao, but i prefer CoTZ because of the little things

The latest version of Anomaly has 4 acts in the story mode. Turning off the re-booted Brain Scorcher is in Act 1, and not even the end of the act. There's a lot more story in Anomaly than is obvious at first.

The latest version of Anomaly no longer requires owning nor having any of the original games installed.
