How can you easily "Tab Out" of this game while using the Misery mod.

Hey, I have a really hard time tabbing out. The windows key doesn't work, and ctrl+alt+delete only works when it feels like it. Going windowed does not fix the problem.

It makes it annoying to record with OBS studio. Is there an option that's set that prevents tabbing out easily, or is it just a Misery quirk?
