I recommend Absolute Nature, Absolute Structures, STCOP Weapon Pack!
Zone Reclamation Project, Atmosfear 3, the Absolute series, all good mods that could be used on a first run through. Other than that and it changes the game.
I love mods. I run 70 mods on my Anomaly install. I run nearly 400 on XCOM 2. But only after I've played through the game and I know exactly what to change for my personal experience.
With Gunslinger, Atmosfear and Absolute Nature you still have the vanilla game but improved.
- its mainly graphics mods (except arsenal overhaul). So main game will be vanilla-like, but with better graphic..
Gunslinger is ok for first run IMO, but this mod is in Beta phase - so many others nice mods will not be compatible with Gunslinger.. So it would be better to stay away from Gunslinger for a while and play with other mods, and wait for Gunslinger full release - I believe after that Gunslinger should be compatible with that graphics mods.
I would recommend NOT to play Misery or Complete mod for first run, because this mods change the game too much.
