Can't Use My F Keys (Windows 10)
As the title says F Keys don't function for me in this game. Literally every other game I play the keys work fine but none of the stalker games register them for me. I've tried a lot of solutions like making sure the Function Keys weren't locked etc.

I'm using a Logitech Keyboard

Any advice?

look in file user.itx. I have a logitech keyboard. f key bindings are:
bind quick_use_1 kF1
bind quick_use_2 kF2
bind quick_use_3 kF3
bind quick_use_4 kF4
bind quick_save kF5
bind quick_load kF9

delete (or rename) the user.itx file. run game which should generate a new file. your itx file may be corrupt.

might also look in the logs folder. might be an error msg in the log file about the keys.

last idea: if you have another overlay running that uses the f keys, you have a conflict

The function keys are only used to consume items like bandages and medkits and you have to drag and drop an item in to the inventory screen window for it to become usable with the function keys. There are only four slots which is F1 to F4. There are also quick save and quick load which I have set to F9 and F11. Do they work?

No sadly. I know I can map them to other buttons, but I like the convenience of the key placement.

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve. Are the F keys not working or just not working in the way you would like them to work?

My apologies for the confusion.

The F keys don't work at all in game.

ah ok are you playing a mod or just CoP? Check the assignments for quicksave and quickload and see if they work. Assign something to slot one like a bandage or medkit and press F1. Do you get a notification that you have consumed it?
No mods. Vanilla.

Nope. Nothing at all.

Try to launch the game with -i command line key.
(Note: windowed mode won't work properly with this key)

If the keyboard has an on/off switch try that and if it takes batteries replace them. If that doesn't work try a different keyboard.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
