Also, I need to point for others who will look at this thread, that it's actually not hardcoded Shift button for "store all" procedure, but a sprint button which is changeable in the options.
<IMHO>
Also, it's a bad choise to use Shift as a sprint button, because it's more handy to use X for sprint, Shift for walk, Ctrl for crouch, !!! and Ctrl+Shift for lower crouch!!! instead of any buttons combinations there are...
For true S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience, I suggest everyone to use standard key bindings for walk and sprint which are Shift and X buttons respectively.
</IMHO>
and to explain my setup, because lol why not:
I got shift as sprint, left alt as crouch and ctrl for low-crouch/crawl since the main fingers on my left hand (ring, mid, index) can still fully control WSAD while my thumb and pinky have the crouch/crawl/jump movements locked down tight
If I had ctrl + shift for low crouch --where ctrl is crouch and shift is walk/lowcrouch, and x's to run, that'd limit my pinky to crouch or walk rather than to crawl with ctrl or sprint with shift, my ring finger couldn't be on WSAD while low-crouching since it'd be on shift --which limits my effective movement with my feet while doing so, I couldn't sprint + jump efficiently since I'd have to spacebar while holding x with my thumb, which is physically-funky to say the least, and the default controls as a whole are just a lil clunky for a fps imo; I dunno, out of all the things that come with "The STALKER Experience", I think the controls should be as steamlined as possible for the player, however that may be, to ensure maximum control over the character because you really gotta be on your toes with this game, so you might as well not make the controls contribute to the Zone's adversity with awkward/fatiguing finger inputs.
(I know I coulda said "To Each His Own" but that's a lame copout --even though it roughly summarizes my point, there's no pizzaz to it, plus I like these opportunities to articulate my thoughts because I can always use the practice)
"Drop by next week. We're expecting some real high class herb, that'll get you higher than high."
Now I'm almost sure we're talking about some mod, because in any original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game you don't need to hold X for sprint, it's just "press once". Hence, not using default controls and using custom ones are very reasonable, since sprint doesn't behaves as it did in the original game by default.
What mod do you play by the way? If that's Anomaly or something that is still supported by devs, you could ask them to add "store all" button =)
Tab-Inventory
MB5-Sprint
MB4-PDA
G-Light/Nightvision depending on if I have an exo yet or not.
It also frees up a lot of other buttons for your remapping pleasure, I've just found this to be more than adequate and I don't bother relearning even more keys. I suppose you could move light closer independent of night vision and detector as well, but since both are used relatively rarely, I don't think it's worth it.

It's simple and fast to use.
Wow lol, you nailed it on the head; Anomaly's been my go-to game on my compy since I stumbled on it last week lookin through Mod DB for an alternative to CoC --its combat/gun behavior just wasn't doin it for me, but thankfully I gave Anomaly a go because it adds just so much depth and polishes to an already characteristically-rich game
And to come to think of it, yeah, running doesn't require holding down the sprint button in Anomaly or any of the vanilla games, lol maybe my muscle memory established a physical prejudice out of habit from years of such games where running requires you to hold a key/button
A "store all" would be pretty nifty, and by the sound of it, the Anomaly team still aims to support the mod?
The button you're looking for should already exist in the latest update, right below your inventory

You're kidding
Just booted up the game to test for myself.
It's called "Move All"
and even respects your filters. So you can move ONLY gun parts if you go to that filter before clicking move all.
I feel like an absolute moron.
Thank you based stranger.
