Crafting?

So I have these 2 boar legs after shooting the boars. The description says the legs can be used to make "various drugs" like anti radiation serums. We can't "craft" things like in other games..right?

So then I should just sell them I thought. Same thing with other animal mutants I kill...yes?

You can't loot mutants in CoP so I guess you are using mods, that same description is used in the first game too, if you paid attention, and seeing as we can't craft with mutant parts or can't craft at all in any of the games, what made you think it is possible in this game?

You're correct, you cannot craft in Call of Pripyat. A lot of mutant items like that have descriptions that are just "flavor text" to explain why they have value (and why the scientists want to buy them from you at a higher price).

I mean if you really want to you can wear a 4.5 kg flesh hide that might stop 1 pellet of a shotgun blast every 10th shot.
