No alife.ltx file?!?!?
Fresh install and I can find all the other .ltx files but I have no alife.ltx file - is there a way to force the game to generate this so I can modify it to kill the endless stuttering?

You should be able to find it under COP>Gamedata>Configs

no dice, I find all the other .ltx files but no alife.ltx file

i know it's been 5 years since you posted this but, here's a solution;
drag and drop it in your stalker main folder and that's all:
