How to install mod patches?

So i recently installed the new ABR mod, and a patch for it has been out for quite some time. I dont really know where to put the files for the patch, bc when i dump the files into the game directory, the new aditions are nowhere to be found (subtitles, languages, bug fixes etc.).

The universal way to to drop the mod or patch contents in the gamedata folder of your game directory. Sometimes you can drop it in the main directory.

If it is not detecting anything then make sure you read any faqs included with the mod or any installation instructions on the mod page.

Make sure that the file or mod you want to add is fully unzipped and put into a new folder BEFORE you try and merge it or add it to a game directory. If you try and add it from a zip program it will not register, even if it is opened. You must either extract it to the location or make a new folder, extract to that folder then add its contents to your game directory or gamedata folder.

If the patch folder contains merely a BIN file then you have to drop it in your games BIN folder.

This is all i can really tell you i have never personally tried that mod and have struggled endlessly until i figured out the following things i just mentioned through endless trial and error.
