This isn't too big of an issue, but every now and then if I close my game, and I reopen it. The text is back to russian. I have to manually change it in the files, is there anyway to prevent this?

Another unrelated bug, I'm unable to skin animals with my knife out. I get the prompt to harvest them and see what I'm gonna harvest, I click on accept and it does nothing.

Well the mod should be placed in its own folder as its a standalone version

Try launching the game as admnistrator

Have you gone in the localisation file and manualy switched from russian to english (eng) and same in axr_option?

This happened to me as well with the translation. There is a menu option to select eng or rus and by default that menu option will always be rus, making the change in the file manually and it will be overwritten when closing the game if you don't go into the drop down menu and select eng.

For harvesting, you need to select the item you want to harvest by clicking it, then hit accept. You need to repeat this process for each piece of loot on the body. I don't like it but I'm not yet sure how to change it.

Another question, I've been noticing my game has been crashing a lot more. Dunno why, I have no other tabs or programs running when I'm playing.

I had a lot of complete freezes but no crashes, so this may not work for your issue. Try bumping the graphics down to DX9 if you're currently on 10. All my problems related to freezing were completely gone after I did that.
