In real life, the Iron Forest is quite close to the power plant, as is the cement factory. But Kopachy is also reasonably close them. Also, the quite dramatic changes of elevation in the game spaces do not correspond to that on the ground--there is some but the overall impression is of quite a large flat area for many hundreds of square kilometers around. And of course, the Red Forest exists in name only: it is the patch of forest that lay directly to the west of the reactor and was burnt by the radiation and killed immediately.
If there was a park directly in front of the building used to model Yubilany I saw no trace of it, or
of any playground equipment because the city is so overgrown. But all of the game assets are completely true to life, from the artwork at the Prometheus movie theater, to the layout inside the River Port. The Jupiter Factory and the hospital are now off limits to visitors being highly contaminated and the locations of the graveyards (where contaminated cleanup equipment and soil, etc. were buried) are most definitely not identified to visitors as they are also among the most dangerous areas in the zone outside of the sarcophagus.
Maybe I'll see it myself someday...sigh...
