Which game has the best modding community?
Which of the three STALKER games has the best mods? I know of one (but not which game it's for) that combines all the maps from all three games.

Call of Pripyat got the best what stalker modding community has to offer:
- Call of Chernobyl, currently the best mod out there for stalker imho
- Misery
^ Combining those two, you get Call of Misery and then Last Day and many other huge mods.
- Absolute Nature 4, AtmosFear 3
- Ray of Hope (TBA) (upcoming open-world online stand-alone stalker game)
- Gunslinger (TBA) (upcoming mod that offers the best immersive animations/weapons to date)

Shadow of Chernobyl is very close tho, it has great mods like Autumn Aura 2, Lost Alpha, OGSE, Complete 2009 and the upcoming LURK. there is also Stalkersoup, a russian mod that adds up to 50 maps i think?

Clear Sky has the least interesting mods. however, there are some cool upcoming mods for it as well.

-Shadow Of Chernobly is FIRST in the largest Modding community, it has the best and the biggest mods. Because modding for this game paved the way for everyone else. This game has had mods that go all the way back to the very first v1.0(and all the other zero's to fallow). The game was made very mod friendly.

-Clear Sky has a low end modding community on the ground someplace. Because the game itself is buggy, and not mod friendly at all. Some mods have great promise, but tend to make things worst. Most mods are basic mini mods that change graphics, skys, weapons. This game has always tipped the scale one way to the other besides it self bugs and CTD's. But I did make my own personal mod, and got the game to play crash free. So it can be done. But I never changed they game drasticly because it dosen't work well.. To me it is like Deep Silver made a consol version of the game and to save time, used the same consol game version, and re-bind it for the PC, and expect it to work.

-Call Of Pripyat is in second to Shadow of Chernobyl for modding community. The game has been returned to the clean ability to mod with out the major issues like what was found in Clear Sky. And has been made possable for mod expansions like Shadow Of Chernoby. One example of a major expansion of this game is the stand alone "Call Of Chernobyl". All you need is the legal default copy of Call Of Pripyat, and the way you go.. This community keeps growing with many full scale mods to such a point, it just may exceed Shadow Of Chernobyl if it hasn't do so already.

What warcatt00 says is probably very true, I don't know. IMO, I think CoP is the best vanilla game for mods because it is the nicest looking graphically, seems to have the fewest problems/errors and is the most complete in areas like weapon and equipment upgrades. SoC is, again IMO, the best actual game, but it just doesn't look as nice, and it seems to have more little "burps" (although I've never had any real problems running it). CS was maybe a good try, but the result is best forgotten. (You might consider that the earlier SoC was programmed with Windows XP -- DX 9.0c -- in mind while the slightly later CoP was programmed with Windows 7 -- DX 10 -- in mind. However, I ran CoP vanilla on my old XP "game machine" with zero problems).
