Possible Spoilers:

I just want to confirm are there only two possible ways to confront Magpie?
-Chimaera hunt
-Blood sucker lair
- scientist missions

OR Find Splinter in the Quarry ( Still Alive)
- If hes dead you still get a hint but it wont outright reveal him?

So the only two options are either find Splint alive or do those three trigger quests?


I have done chimaera, bloodsucker and found Splinter (dead) and still cannot speak with Magpie. Do i just have to finish the Scientists Missions?

I see lots of other people stuck at this point and there seems to be no answers.

I believe you have to do essentially everything before you can confront.

It helps if you find Splinter the first time you go in the quarry anomaly. You need to build your rep in Jupiter before you can expose him. Do all the hunter missions, do all the Scientist missions, get Nitro his electrical stuff, help Uncle Yar, get the Monolith to join a faction, etc.

Also its possible that the speach line has yet to complete itself. If you know you have done everthing needed, may just want to stand Idile in the area near him till speaks.
