Mute/disable/remove loudspeakers in towns?

I play without music and with sound maxed to enjoy muh imershon. But every time I go into Rostov or such, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the loudspeaker makes my brain melt through my bungus. I've looked around and found one of the environment overhaul mods that has it as a sub-feature, but I disliked the rest of the mod.

Does anyone know how to remove it or make it go away? Thanks!

PS. playing coc if that matters.

I have instructions for eliminating the bar music to save streamers from music police harrassment in MISERY in my ModDb profile comments. Not sure if it would work exactly the same in CoC. Shooting the speakers used to work. I hated hearing the Duty and Freedom propaganda over the loud speakers and would shoo them LOL.

Lol. You think Rostok is bad? Try the bandit's radio. Had that crap start blaring when I had family (a cousin and her kids, very conservative religious parents who try to filter other people's mouths in their own home, ugh) watching me play. It's fine when it's in russian, but the verse that is in english is another story, and got me yelled at (in my own home!). The kids thought it was hilarious, but the mother didn't in the slightest.

Also lol about the radio. Every time they come over, play something slightly more obscene, then when they're older they'll properly reject religion

Iirc there is a setting in the Options of CoC to disable the Music. I used this and it works great, only the Speaker in the Duty Territory outside the Bar doesn't mute and keeps playing Barkeepers Music and Talk.

The original song, AFAIK is a street song, so the original probably didn't have an english verse, but this:

And just think how much worse it would have been if I'd been playing house of the dead overkill.

I've been thinking about possibly replacing the bandit radio with some hardbass or something like that. Something my cousin knows is probably offensive, but can't actually complain about because she doesn't know what the lyrics mean. I love being passive-agressive like that, it's almost like a form of trolling.

what you could do is find the ogg files responsible for the speakers and replace them with renamed silence.ogg files. i used this to remove the coughing noises when low health in call of misery
