Misery School - Zulu found

Okay so this happened to me. I've finished with the X8 bunker, started looking for the missing squad to find the signal jammer and I have no idea you can actually find Zulu in Pripyat. So I get near the school, I get a "zulu found" save made but he's nowhere? No snorks, no body but his PKM is dropped on the floor (where he should spawn) is this a known misery bug? Or did this happen to me because I found him too late?

Yeah, I don't know about this one either. Happened to me. I think that if Zulu can be found earlier, he can be saved by you and become one of the people who eventually evacuates from the city. No biggie.

More troublesome for you is the upcoming kindergarten bug crash. I posted an extensive list of steps to take should this bug occur during your playthrough, right as you open a refrigerator and talk to the NPC trapped inside. Just search "kindergarten mission crash" and look for a posting with my handle should your game crash.

Yeah, I was able to find his body with his Pkm intact. I guess I found him sooner than most because his body was still there. I picked up his loot, payed my respects, and left to go back to base.

oh man, i already hooked up with zulu and have yet to get to lab X8... ill look later and see what is going on there.

I dont play Misery but I think you have to pretty much go rescue Zulu as soon as you finish the sniper mission in Pripyat to get the Gauss gun. I went there later on and he wasnt there, but I loaded an early save from early on exploring Pripyat and beelined for him and he was right there.

Thanks for the reply! I've highlighted it. Since this was posted, I've finished CoP twice more and found out that indeed, you need to hurry in order to save Zulu before he succumbs to the zone.
