I'm actually kind of surprised there wasn't an achievement system in the game itself. That would be fitting of the theme.

Indeed, since working for titles is something that makes players play longer and play things they probably wouldn't have without an achievement/title to ask for it.

At least that how it works for me in those multiplayer games ^^
I think 1/4 of my 700h Guild Wars playing time was spent on gaining titles.

I normally don't keep games if they don't offer trading cards or achievements/titles.
