Noob question about sniper

Only just started playing .... am I missing something?
Sniper seems crap. Super slow shooting, trapped in animation, get hit by everything ..... also aim seems very ..... iffy. I am sure I am missing something.

Yeah, the sniper takes a little getting used to, but you can animation cancel using the grapple hook or your special shot.

it's the hardest one to play with but it can also be the most fun. If you learn how to syncronyze, combo her skills and hit the air crits,it's also op as f***

Sniper is meant to be played as a support hero not as primary.

When you play in Co-op you usually hang in the back and dish out damage. If you are playing Single Player then you use sniper when the enemy is far away to dish damage then switch back to your main hero.

One thing I'd strongly recommend with the sniper is to equip the second evasive ability, the one that trades your grappling hook for a dash that makes you invincible. I found it way easier to survive with that one.

Don't forget to set your mine whenever you have a spare moment too. It's a great way to get rid of enemies who get too close, and levelling up its mastery will grant you permanent buffs with all characters.

She's a bit tough to solo with, but her damage output is crazy, especially if you have one or more other players drawing aggro. You'll want to put most of your upgrades into melee damage seeing as the others aren't nearly as useful and you'll mainly be using your primary shot.

Basicly, I strongly recommend to play Meg on Keyboard and Mouse, on controller it might be good when you've got used to using a controller and it's good quality one.

Sniper is literally the best character of them all. She was my primary and I used her solo 99% of the time, my secondary character was Triss. Meg kills everything so damn quick there was little point in using anyone else.
