the game does not start

when I click play on steam, a black screen appears. It disappears after a few seconds and the game quits.

Same with me. I just bought a new pc with intel hd graphics and i tought that this gpu doesnt support this game. But if you all also have the same problem maybe its not our pc's fault?

only way to make the game work now is to play offline disconnect internet

I have the same issue. Does anyone have a clue what is happening? I've removed McAfee as I thought it was the antivirus block or something like it. Nothing works. It sucks

I had the same problem. I could play it offline, but I couldn't innstall any mods. But I got it running online by using the MM.exe file located here: \steamapps\common\Motorsport Manager. Now everything works fine as long as I use the exe file instead of the shortcut from Steam :-)

Sorry. Forget about my last post. Now it doesn't work anymore.... Somehow I got the game running and the mod innstalled by using the description above. Not anymore. The game runs offline and the mod is innstalled so thats OK. I tried to go back online while the game was running, and it crashed/stopped working. It's really weird

try:
- verify integrity of game files (right click mm in library -> properties -> local files -> then verify it)
- uninstalling the mod affecting it (or just uninstall every mod) and check if it works without the mod(s) affecting it, then reinstall one by one if necessary.

not sure if the 2nd point could work, but i remember on a different post that this could be a solution...

The game launches without wifi.
When I switch my wifi back on in order to get the updates, it quits automatically.
Is there someone who has any idea?

Confirmed that turning off the internet allows this to start.
Looks likely it's related to cloud sync or something.

I've add MM.exe into firewall, I've disabled the firewall and nothing works. Still playing offline. And Steam can't provide any support neither.
