When the problem occurs, there is no popup message or window at all on my system. Any ideas what might trigger this thing to happen and how to prevent it?
If your system freezes and requires a hard reboot, you have a system problem outwith the game. If your not tech savvy with a laptop, take it to a qualified repair outlet.
As far as stability, Ive had 5 ctd's in 900hrs of play. 4 of which where while using mods, and the last was a corrupted file with the DLC.
I had to do a hard reboot one time when the game froze completely. Frozen screen had like red horizontal lines all over the screen.
Crash in other hand was somewhat different case. MM was sort of running still in the background, but i couldn't switch back to it anyway. I had to close MM from task manager.
I also noticed before the freeze&crash, that when i moved the mouse pointer on bottom of the screen it slowed down the game (movies playing in background started to play slower)
Also small graphical glitches started to appear when i was moving my mouse pointer on bottom of the screen.
Those have been my experiences, and don't quite know what the problem is. Lately MM has been running quite smoothly though, but i'm afraid those issues might appear again. I hope not though.
I'm a bit concerned, that if my GPU is about to die, but i'm not 100% sure. Need to investigate some more. I just had one of my GPU's die on me not so long ago, and the one im using now is same brand and model.
That is exactly what I am experiencing. I do not believe this to be an issue of a broken GPU as mine would then be broken, too. And I do not have a problem like this with other games (including ones such as GTA V or Battlefield 1, which might not be on the same level as Motorsport Manager in terms of graphics).
Any comment by the developers?
And again. Will stop playing now and wait for a patch.
Dissatisfied.
