No, seriously she's superficially appealing in a number of respects, but I wouldn't touch her with a barge pole. Smoothness of 20 is great for tyre wear. Her feedback of 14.43 (as at the time that I originally scouted her in 2018) was nothing to be sneezed at. She still had hollow stars so I can see that by 2020 she had reached over 16 on that. That's great for getting practice bonuses.
While she's unemployed, wages "aren't very important" to her. (I just approached her in 2020 (while she was still unemployed in my game) to confirm that.) I could have had her at 433,640. but unemployed drivers are far less demanding. If you were trying to lure her away from another team, that's a different matter. You will almost certainly be paying a higher amount.
She wasn't a pay driver when I first scouted her but became one later; I've seen that happen with other drivers as well, in particular Falko Engelhart. When I was doing my YouTube series on this game I had the Falko fan club in my ear regularly about hiring him, and while I understood and respected their viewpoint, as I said at the time there is no benefit in putting a 5 star driver in a 2 star car. At the time he wasn't a pay driver so I would have been paying for nothing. The car matters much more than the driver, regardless of what the devs intended; my only interest is in what the code does in practice, not what it does in theory.
The killer for me is her marketability of 11. To get 5 star sponsors (which is the gold plated key to success) you need to have a marketability of OVER 90%. This is the average of the team and the two drivers, so you need OVER 270/300. If you have team marketability of 100%, and the second driver has marketability of 100%, the third driver needs a MINIMUM of 71%. If you take a driver with marketability lower than that, you simply cannot get 5* sponsors. Marketability of 11 kills it stone dead. No pay driver can make up the difference.
I wouldn't worry what the Twitch players do; go and find adequate drivers with high marketability. If they're pay drivers, so much the better.
