Improvability?
When you build the chassis what does improvability mean ? I know the definition of the word obviously but what does it mean in this game? I can improve my chassis even more over the season? I can improve my part stats more?

How much of each part you can upgrade after it has been built by default.

Each star is worth 4 points of performance above the base.

Thanks. So it's kinda like base stat modifier when developing chassis.

No, it modifies the maximum.
1 star therefore gives you components like 40/44
2 stars therefore gives you components like 40/48

But it's added up with each component once I use average, good and great in one part? It will add 12+12+12 maximum so in total 36 stats? When I have 3 stars that is.

No it adds +12 Overall to each Part in Development, not Each Component you use there.

Ah yeah I see it in the last screenshot now. Only adds up once.

Improvability also makes improving reliability and performance faster from the mechanics.
edit:ignore that its wrong

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure performance/reliability improvement speed is solely down to the number of mechanics assigned to it and your engineers bonus

Pretty sure it's only staff assigned + mechanics skill.

I had done some test on my first season and saw different results but i think i messed up somewhere in the test as trying them again after reading your answer on 2nd season and i get no difference this time in improvement time so just ignore my previous post its wrong info, sorry about that.
