Motorsport Manager (PC) vs Motorsport Manager mobile 3

Hey,
I just bought the pc version of the game (Release: 9.11.2016) and after 10 minutes I found out that there is a newer motorsport manager for moblie devices (Release: 17.7.2018). I just want to ask the veterans of the franchise which one of these two games they prefer/ is better?

I have both. Bought the mobile version only for on the road gaming and to support the devs. Pc version is better of course. Make sure to see the mod selection in the Workshop.

There are a lot of frustrated people here who wish to see the PC MM upgraded by playsport, but it seems to of been abandoned back last year on the last update, with nothing since.

There was possible chat of something coming because it was the depot listing on SteamDB, but that was a while ago. As it is? for now MM is probably still a better product, but it won't be long before the mobile version overtakes because it keeps advancing in development and technology and the PC version has been screened out by playsport. it is only a matter of when and not if that happens.

The pc version isnt abandoned, it has had its development cycle.

There are feature in both the mobile and pc version that are superiour to the other.

When as the last we heard anything from Playsport on the matter of the PC version? i mean something relevant rather than potential/speculative?

As mentioned, i know there are those of us who think that Playsport might continue with the PC, but it has been a while since they last communicated with their customers on steam let alone brought a patch or a content update. it has been a frustrating experience for sure.

It would be great if Playsport came back and worked on MM again, but as it is right at this point in time? I hate to say it, but there hasn't been anything from them since.

They have stated on their reddit that making the pc version costed them more than they anticipated and that it didn't provide them with the funds required to make a second Motorsport Manager for the pc.

They focussed on the mobile and switch markets in order to gather the funds required to make a second MM for the pc.

Everything that they develop for the mobile, will eventually, if they get to the money required to get a pc version going again, be placed in there. And considering they released a multiplayer focussed version not too long ago, it's probably going to be in the new version as well.
