Regulation Reset
Are the AI immune to when a series resets the regulations (i.e. where your parts reset to a base stat)? My car still shows it's the best on the grid (parts and star ratings), driver with all 20 stats. 1st race of the season at Doha I ended up finishing near the bottom of the grid over 20 seconds off the pace from 1st. My times on the softs were SLOWER than those racing on hards (even on a lap where I was pushing). Tyre wear and temps were kept in control.

EDIT: I'm referring to WMC.

They are not... Sounds like a bug but first time I hear anyone reporting such thing so...

had the same disappointment. after 12 seasons of hard work with parts, they just burned my money. but the worst thing is that the AI seems not even felt the changes. this is a joke over the players.

No, reset is the entire series. Even if you have the best car it doesnt mean you have the best drivers. When the difference between cars is at a max 10, drivers have more say on the matter than the car.

Had a reset during my first time in WMC couple years back and the first few races were a mix of people winning until my r&d outpaced the ai until I was 30 seconds ahead in the 2nd season after reset.
