Mac OSX Game Won't Start

I have this installed on OSX 10.12 and it refuses to start. It either go black immedietly or dies at the SEGA screen. The game has started before but this problem always ends up popping up. I am on vacation away from my PC and wanted to finish my season. This is annoying me.

Same issue, have you found a way to get it working? I'm on holiday too and I have this issue.

Same here. Reinstalled the game, still crashing at startup. Somestimes i can see the beginning of the intro until it crashes.

Completely worthless to me. Wanted to play this on a long airplane ride and couldn't do it. I can only steam stream this. Support has been not helpful at all.

I've been having the same issue since January 1 when I bought the game. Have only been able to get it to launch once, out of I'd say easily 100 tries. Have verified cache 10+ times, reinstalled, everything.

I can't seem to launch Kerbal Spae Progam either via Steam, but when I launch it from finder there's no issue. I'm baffled. Unfortunately this isn't an option for MM, as it doesn't launch from finder either :(

I got some support from SEGA and here is their recommendation:

"Please refer to the following article from Steam’s Knowledgebase and follow thoroughly all the steps mentioned:

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3134-TIAL-4638

- Completely exit the Steam client.
- Open Safari and type steam://flushconfig then press enter
- Restart your computer.
- Launch Steam and re-test the issue.

Once that's done, start steam again and reverify your game cache as shown here:
1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the ‘VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAMECACHE…’ button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
6. We recommend verifying your cache twice to make sure all files are fully downloaded"
