Loyalty I think you just have to keep the same staff lineup for years and years. Letting someone go is always a huge hit to it.
I mean if this is completely bugged and does not make any significant gameplay impact I don't care. But if at some point someone wont sign with me, or if I try to join a different team and cannot because of this, that will be... sad.
So assuming you never went into the red, it'd take 400 weeks, or just over 7.5 years, to reach 20.
based on that. 5 years in for the amount of times i dipped in the red. my financial stats should be approx... 15 at least.
But I'm still stuck at 10, hasn't changed.
After 250 weeks of positive financials my stat is still at 10 as well.
I've also noticed that my mechanics seem to not be getting better. I have Tom Woodbridge still, he's the starter mechanic for Predator, he was 2 stars as long as i could remember... and 250 weeks later it doesn't look like he has improved. He is still 2 stars for skill.
Then when i looked at the scouting page to see the other race mechanic staff, and I've noticed most of the mechanics have reached their full potential. Even the danish mechanic that predator originally starts with is now at 1.5 stars for skill.
Anyone else noticing this?
For instance, if the increase is 0.05 per week, then it'd take around 80 weeks to see a single star increase. However, this assumes that for every race there's a + increase, and no other events have taken place that will slow or negate progress, such as being fired or being unemployed. It also assumes that your HQ is providing a good progress % for your staff.
Also these stats are meaningless, because you can't see other managers' stats, so you can't compare yourself with AI.
Definitely the player's finance attribute does not move (at least it does not go up). No matter what you do. I believe the same as loyalty player's finance. On my game, during the beginning of my career the finance attribute increased, but I stopped early. Maybe it was when I did a dismissal and a hiring, though this is just a guess. I do not have any doubt about it does not move, never, and I am always in positive balance, in fact I have 15M and I have built two buildings in the headquarters in less than 2 seasons.
Long answer: How it intended to work: each weekend, if you not out of job, your Financial rating should got +5% if the your have green balance, or -5% if you have red balance (just like Mic Pringle said) and your Loyalty stat get +5%. However this code is never triggered and that's why it never goes up. There are other triggers outside weekend that may reduce this stat (like firing people that give -20% loyalty, this includes letting the contract running out) and that's why those 2 stat can only go down now.
