Personal Stats, Management, Finances, Loyalty. Bugged?
Hello friends, i have a quick question and would like to know your feedback on your own personal stats in this game.

First off i realize these stats seem to mean little to the game... especially if you are staying with one team your entire career. However... I like to see my personal stats go up because i have an ego to feed.

So, the game explains how these stats work. Race Management is dependant on how you manage the cars on the track and the results (easy)

Financial, depends on how much in the green (profit) you make, making sure you don't bankrupt a team.

Loyalty, this score lowers if you fire drivers or staff, or jump to new teams, and increases over time....

So. 5 seasons in. My stats are RM 20, F 10, L 9.

So Racemanagement is kind of an easy stat to increase... It did not take me long to max that one.... But Financial and Loyalty have been scratching my head.

Financially i rarely... i seriously mean rarely ever go in the RED, in 5 seasons... I've been in the RED approx 3 times... and never for longer than a race. So again my team always has money in the bank, and i always make money per race... and finish the season with about 2-3 million extra... All the meanwhile saving 10 million away for the new car... But this Financial stat... hovers at 10. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've never put the team at risk of going bust, and never lost money per race.... Should this stat not increase?

Next up loyalty, and good golly am i ever a jerk at this game.... j.k. So in 5 years I've fired 3 people... (Charlotte the designer, Katie the reserve driver, and.... that danish mechanic guy who sucks... forgot his name) Also... I've let 2 drivers walk after the contract expired... (Santa ana recently, and Evans ) I have resigned, my two new drivers... i have resigned my 2 mechanics... and i have resigned my lead designer... And my loyalty stat is at 9. So how does this go up? As far as i am keeping score, i have been loyal 5 times resigning staff and driver, and i have been disloyal 3 times firing staff or drivers... Ive been with Predator 5 years (this should have some value) and as far as letting contracts expire... i don't believe i should be penalized for that. How does one go increasing loyalty?

Would love to hear what all of your personal stats are, how many virtual christmases have you ruined by firing your staff?

Sorry Tommy, Mommy can't buy you Motorsport Manager, she's been sacked by Predator for designing engines with the same horsepower as peanut butter sandwiches...

I'm pretty sure your financial stat just goes up or down with the graph. In other words you'll take a hit each time you add to your hq because it's showing you lost more money than you made that week.

Loyalty I think you just have to keep the same staff lineup for years and years. Letting someone go is always a huge hit to it.

I also have been having problems with Loyalty, I fired my designer, 1 mechanic, and my reserve driver right off the bat. That dropped me to a little over 9. I have since not fired anyone and resigned everyone at least once. It is still a little over 9.

I mean if this is completely bugged and does not make any significant gameplay impact I don't care. But if at some point someone wont sign with me, or if I try to join a different team and cannot because of this, that will be... sad.

3rd season my F is 10 and L 9.8 I have never been in the red at all. Have only fired one person who was stealing, everybody else on the team has had contracts renewed at least once

The financial stat is out of a max 20, and changes +/- 0.05 per week, depending on whether you're in the red (-) or the black (+).

So assuming you never went into the red, it'd take 400 weeks, or just over 7.5 years, to reach 20.

based on that. 5 years in for the amount of times i dipped in the red. my financial stats should be approx... 15 at least.

But I'm still stuck at 10, hasn't changed.

Almost finished season 5. Then i noticed, my Loyalty stat... which was 9 when i started the season was now 8. I havn't fired anyone, infant i offered a contract extension to one of my drivers.

After 250 weeks of positive financials my stat is still at 10 as well.

I've also noticed that my mechanics seem to not be getting better. I have Tom Woodbridge still, he's the starter mechanic for Predator, he was 2 stars as long as i could remember... and 250 weeks later it doesn't look like he has improved. He is still 2 stars for skill.

Then when i looked at the scouting page to see the other race mechanic staff, and I've noticed most of the mechanics have reached their full potential. Even the danish mechanic that predator originally starts with is now at 1.5 stars for skill.

Anyone else noticing this?

The stars represent a figure out of 20, i.e. each star is worth 4 points. The increases over time aren't expressed in whole numbers, so you don't increases 1 point at a time, but rather a fraction of a point.

For instance, if the increase is 0.05 per week, then it'd take around 80 weeks to see a single star increase. However, this assumes that for every race there's a + increase, and no other events have taken place that will slow or negate progress, such as being fired or being unemployed. It also assumes that your HQ is providing a good progress % for your staff.

I'm also at about 5th season. My stats are 20, 10, 9(maybe 8). And I'm often in red (not too much), because I use all the money available, but it's still 10.
Also these stats are meaningless, because you can't see other managers' stats, so you can't compare yourself with AI.

As I said in another topic, I copy:

Definitely the player's finance attribute does not move (at least it does not go up). No matter what you do. I believe the same as loyalty player's finance. On my game, during the beginning of my career the finance attribute increased, but I stopped early. Maybe it was when I did a dismissal and a hiring, though this is just a guess. I do not have any doubt about it does not move, never, and I am always in positive balance, in fact I have 15M and I have built two buildings in the headquarters in less than 2 seasons.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: How it intended to work: each weekend, if you not out of job, your Financial rating should got +5% if the your have green balance, or -5% if you have red balance (just like Mic Pringle said) and your Loyalty stat get +5%. However this code is never triggered and that's why it never goes up. There are other triggers outside weekend that may reduce this stat (like firing people that give -20% loyalty, this includes letting the contract running out) and that's why those 2 stat can only go down now.
