Why play the game then if you want to simulate races? Bad results is part of the sport, not just being on top :)

well it is not fun when you are like 100 second to 200 seconds behind the next driver...

x12 and move on. If one race bothers you so much, this game might not be for you.

i like this game as you can see in my hours but it is in every race like that when doing endurance

Mr Dragon has a point though.

Endurance races can be tedious. There isnt much to do at times. I have had races where all I do is Conserve tyres and Push to prevent them from under/overheating.
This is with engine at blue mode because you want the parts to last the whole race.

So that can be tedious. I combine it with Netflix as 1 episode of say, Gotham, is almost as long as 1 enduro race.

Perhaps a x24 speed would be better.

Macromanagement mod can help you, but I don't know if an endurance race can reflect your actual level. I think the difference in a race is your work in change strategy on the fly or try an undercut... AI doesn't do these things, then you risk to lost a race you could win...
And in an Endurance race these things are even more important.

like i mean when ya have started your own team and you don't have a competive car at all so that is when you can simulate the races

Macromanager mod is horrible for Endurance. You need to manage tyres well and manage reliability (use engine blue mode a lot).

And you are not racing much against other cars, so no undercuts etc. You just try to get to the finish as quick as possible so with least amount of pitstops or maybe more stops but softer compound so you are quicker.

In Endurance it is stupid to fight others and waste tyres/engine/parts condition.

But still it can be a bit tedious as it is now.

That's endurance racing for you. The teams don't really have a fast-forward button when doing Le Mans and are nowhere near another car or anything. It's one of the reasons I feel it wasn't the best option for a DLC pack, as it's not a very good form of racing, period.

Something like the old x30 speed mod would be good though.

That's personal preference, but I agree in its present form it's not up to par of real endurance racing. Part failures are part of endurance racing and the reliability should be more of a "chance to fail" and need repairs mid race out of the blue rather than just "reliability has reached 0, go repair it" thing. That's where the intensity of it comes from, that you can be laps ahead and have a problem, then suddenly you have a race.

This should be the case in only endurance racing but in all racing. In other series reliability issues have even more severe consequences than in endurance racing. Reliability is as important part of motorsport than performance but the way it works atm leaves a lot to be desired.
