Predator Racing challenge and fired

Hello,
Predator challenge:

i am in my 7th season now and made it to formula1 in the challenge where you can only manage predator racing.
now i demanded, as usual, money which lowers the chairman happiness by 50%.
now i see i cannot meet the targets, despite i chose the worst target (place 8).
what can i do? will i be fired?
this is not a standard game, but the predator challenge.
i finished 4th in first race so i decided to demand money to accelerate part development, now the question is: if they fire me, will it all be over?

can this happen, or am i immune, because i cannot change teams anyways?

you don't have to get fired or the play ends

TIP: Never demand money its really not worth it unless you know you can achieve the target easily. He gives you a piddling 1 or 2 mill for a 50 moral hit, its at best one good or great part, I personally never bother easier ways to make money that dont get you sacked.

yes i will load the game from where i demanded the money.

in race one i finished so high, it looked very easy for the season, but i was wrong.
i changed my strategy to 2 paydrivers each givin me 9xx 000 per race, so i ahave about 31mio additional money anyways.

but now the question:
---->will i be fired or is this not possible in the predator campaign?<----

you can be fired and in that case the caimpaign end

Simoste, Thank you very much! so i raelly have to give 100% to avoid it and i wont get any extra-chance to play on.
that would be sad becuase i have really built the factory and cann ow attack.

but the season aims were very high.

i had developed legendary front wing with the warning to make them legal, but suddenly i see that in f1 all front wings are standard. lol.
huge drawback.
still my cahirman just gave me place 8 as lowest target. and f1 currently has 5 places score points. so it will be ... difficult .... :)

This is in the challenge mode, not the standart mode, where you indeed can apply for another job.

But the conditions in both modes are the same? (same amount of money, factory, drivers, etc.)?

They should be the same. I got the achievement associated with the challenge playing in the regular mode.

Don't take this as gospel as I never played the Predator challenge, but I was in a similar situation in the career mode.

I started out with a brand new team in the ERS championship. About 2 or 3 seasons in I was down on my target position for the season (I think I had a target of 8th and came in 9th), and from the midway point in the season I had the chairman (the low pressure funding one) screaming at me after every race that I was going to be fired if I missed the target.
Come the end of the season I had missed the target (by one place if I remeber right), but the chairmans happiness was up pretty high and we had a couple of fairly good races towards the end of the season which probably helped his happiness levels, and I didn't get fired despite all his threatening emails after every single race!

I think the best thing you can do is try everything you can to boost the chairmans happiness levels from here on, and hopefully that might just be enough to save you.

Like I said though, this wasn't in the challenge mode so I can't promise this will work for you in this instance, but it might just be worth a try.

now i am trying everything, but the only thing i can see is:
dont go to red numbers (which i wont because i make 2 mio each race)
and dont finish so far last.

there is nothing i can do.

i was desperate and let the game run: i just clicked race and returned to the pc when the races wre finished. naturally this way i finished always last with worn tires etc.

result: when his happiness was at 0% he gave me that threat.

it was to finish 13th.
i finished 14th and was fired immediately.

this is in the predator campaign.

so after finding out i must find any way.

but except some dilemmas or interview news i can think of nothing but write green numbers and finish as high as possible. which is really hard with the slowest car, despite i have a very good driver.

if oyu miss your target by 1 oistion you wont neccaserily get fired despitew what the game tells you. you missed my target in the first season but didnt get fired

here the RESULTS:

i managed to drive out some "decent" results in rain, boosting my position in the championship to place 6. so his temper is not degrading race by race.
next thing is, by finishing not last but positions like 8. to 6. i was able to stop a big amount of the moral-drop.
then there came Ardennes. Spa. and i won because there were several weather changes and i just know what to look for. the race was perfect exept on pit stop, i won by a margin 0f 0.7 seconds with a car slower 2.5sec per lap. so i gained 110sec / quite two minutes by correct pitting and tire use.

now i am in the next year, my car is somehow even weaker.
but:
i have frankie parkes, 1 star talent, 974.000 per race paydriver getting 18.000 per race.
bao täng.
and Elisa Kahl (Austria). they all get me 2.9mio bucks per race.
Kahl is a real decent driver.
Tang is Mentor.
in fact she gains over 2% at each ability. wow.
Tank and Parkes are way over 30.

and my chief engineer was unemployed, he now gets just 19k. one ability, i think rear wing, was 0. he is a 4.8 talent but currently one star is in use / active.
so he needs no salary and his stars are filling up. especially he has all special abilities except the middle one.
the race engineers gain 4% and 14,73 % per week.

they also get minimum salary. why? i had them in Asia Pacific and when i came up to World motorsport championship they didnt demand anything.

so i have a gain of 4mio per race. 56mio per year. plus 35mio payment. plus 45-55 bonus.
so i am making 130mio alone this year :D
